    These tie rods are rather nice and available in four different nominal lengths:

    This version is the 45mm length.

    Constructed from stainless steel and anodised aluminium, the length can be increased by unscrewing the heads (note the use of both left and right handed threads. Also includes lock nuts to fix the length after adjustment.

    The self-aligning heads have a 3.15mm bore.
