    These tie rods are rather nice and available in four different nominal lengths:

    This version is the 105mm length.

    Constructed from stainless steel and anodised aluminium, the length can be increased by unscrewing the heads (note the use of bothg left and right handed threads. Also includes lock nuts to fix the length after adjustment.

    The self-aligning heads have a 3.15mm bore.
